Product Description

The Blackback Butterflyfish (Chaetodon melannotus) is a striking reef fish known for its pale silver-white body contrasted by a dark black dorsal “back” band and delicate yellow accents near the fins. Its elegant shape and calm swimming style make it a beautiful addition to larger marine aquariums.

This species is best suited to experienced aquarists, as it requires a mature, stable aquarium with high water quality and a varied diet. Like many butterflyfish, it thrives in environments rich in live rock where it can graze and explore naturally.
