Product Description

The Regal Angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus) is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful marine angelfish available. Its vibrant yellow and white body is accented by brilliant blue and black vertical stripes, creating a truly spectacular display in any established saltwater aquarium.

Highly prized by experienced marine aquarists, the Regal Angelfish requires a mature aquarium with stable water quality, abundant live rock, and plenty of natural hiding places. While initially shy, once acclimated it becomes an active and graceful swimmer. Due to its specialised feeding habits, this species is best suited to aquarists with experience caring for more delicate marine fish.

A mature aquarium with extensive live rock, caves, and shaded areas is essential. Stable water chemistry, excellent filtration, and peaceful tank mates will help reduce stress and encourage natural feeding behaviour.
