Rotala Colorata, with strong lights and regular fertilization, brings out strong stems with more intense pink colouration. This plant is best when planted in the mid-ground or background of an aquarium. It forms side shoots willingly, becoming compact and bushy. This also means that it is hard for light to reach the lower leaves, so the plant should be pruned frequently. Also known as Rotala indica. Tissue Culture Plants have been grown in sterile containers that allow them to be easily moved and which are free from disease, pest and pathogens.
